The Cave That Talked
A hungry lion found an empty cave and decided to wait inside for whoever lived there.
Soon a jackal came home and saw the huge paw prints going in, and none coming out.
He stopped at the entrance and thought of a clever test.
"Hello, cave!" he called. "You always greet me when I come home. Have you forgotten?"
Inside, the lion thought he had better answer, and he called out, "Hello!"
The jackal ran off laughing, because caves, of course, do not talk.
A calm mind can find the truth by asking one good question.
