The Snake and the Ants
A big snake was very proud. "No creature in this forest can trouble me," he hissed.
One day he tried to squeeze into a narrow anthill to show how strong he was.
The ants poured out in their thousands, tickling and nipping at him from every side.
The mighty snake wriggled backwards as fast as he could go.
He never boasted again, for he had learned that even the smallest can teach a lesson.
Never think you are too big to be taught something.
