The Man Who Got What Was Coming
Two friends went far away to seek their fortune. One found gold; the other found only a little.
The lucky one grew greedy and wanted his friend's share too.
He made a plan to trick him, but at every turn the plan went wrong.
His gold was lost on the road, his cart broke, and he came home with nothing.
The other friend shared his small food with him anyway.
"You get what you deserve," said the wise men, "and kindness is worth more than gold."
What you give out tends to come back to you.
