Soft the Weaver's Wish
A weaver named Soft was told he could have one wish, whatever he liked.
He ran home, full of joy, to ask his wife what he should choose.
"Ask for another pair of arms and another head," she said. "Then you can weave twice as much cloth."
Soft thought this was very clever, and that is exactly what he wished for.
But when he walked into the village with four arms and two heads, everyone was frightened.
He learned that a wish should be thought about slowly, not grabbed in a hurry.
Think carefully before you ask for something. You might get it.
