The Doves and the Hunter's Net
A flock of doves flew over a field and saw grain scattered on the ground.
"Wait," said their king. But the hungry birds swooped down at once.
Snap! A hunter's net closed over every one of them. They flapped and cried.
"Stop pulling," called the king. "Each of you pull one thread. Now, all together, up!"
The doves beat their wings as one, and the whole net rose into the sky.
The hunter stared as his net flew away over the trees.
When everyone pulls together, even a trap cannot hold you.
