A Cure Worse Than the Illness
A king had a pet monkey who sat close to him all day long.
One morning the king had a small itch on his back. The monkey wanted to help.
He rubbed and rubbed with his rough little hands until the itch became a sore.
"Stop!" said the king. "Now it hurts far more than before."
Some help, the king learned, is worse than no help at all.
Think whether your help will really help, or only make things worse.
Think Before You ActDid you know?
Doctors have a saying too: first, do no harm.
