The Monkey and the Wedge
Carpenters were building a temple. At lunch time they left a half-cut log with a wedge in it.
A curious monkey came and sat on the log. He saw the wooden wedge and pulled it.
He tugged and tugged. The wedge came out with a pop.
The log snapped shut and caught his tail. "Ouch!" cried the monkey.
He learned that day to leave alone the work he did not understand.
Do not poke into work that is not yours to do.
