The Three Billy Goats Gruff

2 min read Ages 3–8

Three billy goats wanted to cross a bridge to eat the sweet green grass on the hill.

But under the bridge lived a grumpy troll who wanted to gobble them up.

The smallest goat trip-trapped across. 'Wait for my bigger brother,' he said. The troll let him pass.

The middle goat did the same. 'My big brother is coming and he is much bigger!'

The biggest billy goat was so strong he bumped the troll far away with his horns!

Then all three goats ate the sweet grass together on the sunny hill, happy and safe.
