The Ugly Duckling
On a sunny farm, a mother duck waited for her eggs to hatch. Out popped fluffy yellow ducklings — and one big grey one.
The other animals laughed at the grey duckling. He felt very sad and all alone.
The lonely duckling left the farm. He swam through cold, quiet ponds all winter long.
When spring came, he saw beautiful white swans. He looked at his reflection — he had grown into a swan too!
The swans welcomed him with happy honks. He was never ugly — he was a lovely swan all along.
Everyone is special in their own way.
