The Tortoise and the Hare
The hare loved to brag. "I am the fastest animal in the forest! Nobody can beat me!"
The slow tortoise smiled. "I will race you," he said calmly. All the animals laughed.
The race began. The hare zoomed far ahead and decided to take a nap under a shady tree.
The tortoise never stopped. Step by step, slow and steady, he walked past the sleeping hare.
When the hare woke up, the tortoise was already crossing the finish line. Slow and steady had won the race!
Slow and steady wins the race.
