The Gingerbread Man

2 min read Ages 3–8

A kind old woman baked a little gingerbread man. When she opened the oven, he hopped right out!

The gingerbread man ran out the door, laughing. "Run, run, as fast as you can!" he shouted.

A cow and a horse chased him down the road. But the speedy cookie was much too quick to catch.

At a wide river, a clever fox offered him a ride. "Hop on my back," said the fox with a smile.

But the sly fox only wanted a snack. With one quick gulp, the gingerbread man was gone!
