The Enormous Turnip
An old man planted a tiny turnip seed and watered it every day.
The turnip grew enormous! The old man pulled and pulled, but it would not come out.
He called the old woman. They pulled together, but still the turnip stayed put.
The girl, the dog, the cat and even a little mouse all joined the line and pulled.
With one big tug, POP! Out came the enormous turnip, and everyone cheered.
When we all work together, we can do big things.
