The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse
A country mouse lived in a cozy field. One day his cousin from the town came to visit.
The country mouse shared his simple meal of seeds and crusts. 'Come see the town!' said his cousin.
In the town house, there was wonderful food piled high on a big table.
But suddenly a big cat jumped out! The two mice ran and hid, hearts pounding.
The country mouse went home happily. 'I would rather have plain food in peace,' he said.
A simple, safe life can be better than a fancy one full of worry.
