The Shiny Golden Deer
One day, a deer with shiny golden fur pranced near the hut. It sparkled like sunshine!
"Oh, how lovely!" said Sita. "I wish I could see it up close."
Rama went to gently follow the deer, so Sita could enjoy it. Lakshmana stayed to keep Sita safe.
But the sparkly deer led Rama far, far away. It was not an ordinary deer at all.
Later, everyone learned a gentle lesson: not everything that looks shiny is what it seems. It is wise to think calmly before chasing after shiny things.
Not everything shiny is good for us. Think calmly before you wish.
