Sita's Loving Choice

Story 17 Into the Forest 1 min read Ages 3–10

Rama told Sita, "I must live in the forest. You may stay here in the comfortable palace."

But Sita shook her head with a smile. "Where you go, I will go," she said. "We are a team. I will be happy anywhere, as long as we are together."

She left behind her silk clothes and golden jewels without a worry. Being with Rama mattered more than any riches.

Together, hand in hand, they got ready for their forest adventure.
