The Dreamer and the Pot
A poor man was given a large pot of barley flour and hung it above his bed.
That night he lay looking up at it and began to dream out loud.
"I will sell this flour and buy goats. The goats will give me money for cows."
"Then a big house, and a family, and a fine son who will run to meet me."
"And if he is naughty, I shall shake my stick at him, like this!"
Up went his arm, crash went the pot, and the flour rained down on his very empty head.
