The Four Treasure Seekers
Four friends set out to find treasure. After a long walk they found copper.
"This is enough for me," said the first, and he carried his copper home.
Further on they found silver, and the second friend happily turned back.
Deeper still they found gold, and the third took his share and left, calling out a warning.
"There must be diamonds ahead," said the fourth, and he walked on and on and on.
He walked so far that he lost the path, and came home at last with nothing at all.
Knowing when you have enough is a kind of wisdom.
