The Crane Who Lost His Pond
A crane lived beside a small pond that gave him fish every single day.
"This pond is too small for a bird like me," he grumbled to anyone who would listen.
He flew off to find a grander lake, and found one, wide and beautiful.
But it was full of bigger birds who had been fishing there for years.
They chased him from every good spot, and he went hungry for many days.
He flew home to his little pond and never called it small again.
Be thankful for what feeds you. It may be better than it looks.
