The Donkey with No Sense
A jackal wanted to lead a plump donkey into the lion's part of the forest.
"Come," he said sweetly, "there is soft green grass and a lady donkey waiting for you."
The donkey came, saw the lion, took fright and ran all the way home.
The jackal followed and coaxed him with the very same words a second time.
And the foolish donkey came back again, because he never once asked himself why.
Some creatures, sighed the jackal, do not learn from the first fright.
If something frightened you once, stop and think before going back.
