The Journey to Mithila

Story 9 Mithila Days 1 min read Ages 3–10

The sage said, "Let us travel to the kingdom of Mithila. There is a special celebration there."

The road was long. The sun was warm. Rama and Lakshmana walked many miles.

They did not complain. They did not rush. They enjoyed the singing birds and the tall green trees along the way.

"Good things come to those who wait," Rama said with a smile.
