Sita Stays Brave

Story 33 The Great Search 1 min read Ages 3–10

While Rama was away, a faraway king named Ravana carried Sita off to his island kingdom of Lanka.

Sita was far from home now. But she did not lose hope.

"My Rama will come for me," she said bravely to herself. "I must stay strong and good."

In Lanka, Sita was kind but firm. She kept a brave heart and never gave up believing help would come.

Her courage shone like a little light in a dark place, warm and never fading.
