Vibhishana Chooses Good

Story 63 Hanuman & the Bridge 1 min read Ages 3–10

In Lanka lived a kind man named Vibhishana. He was Ravana's own brother.

Vibhishana saw that Ravana was doing wrong by keeping Sita away from Rama. It made his heart sad.

"I must do what is right, even if it is hard," Vibhishana decided. So he left to join Rama's side of goodness.

It was not easy to leave, but Vibhishana chose kindness and truth over doing wrong.

Choosing what is right, even when it is hard, made Vibhishana very brave and good.
