Hanuman Searches Lanka

Story 51 Hanuman & the Bridge 1 min read Ages 3–10

Hanuman landed softly in the island city of Lanka. It was big and full of many buildings.

"Where could Sita be?" he wondered. He needed to be clever and careful.

To search quietly, Hanuman made himself as tiny as a little cat. He tip-toed through gardens and peeked around corners.

He looked here and there, gentle and quiet, so no one would notice him.

Using his clever mind, Hanuman searched the whole city bit by bit, never giving up.
