Rama the Good Listener

Story 90 A Happy Kingdom 1 min read Ages 3–10

King Rama loved to listen to his people.

Anyone could come to him — a farmer, a child, an old woman — and Rama would listen carefully to every word.

He never said, "I am too busy." He looked into their eyes, nodded kindly, and truly heard them.

"When we listen," Rama said, "people feel loved and understood."

Because Rama listened so well, he always knew how to help. Good listening made him a wonderful and caring king.
