Hanuman's Loving Heart
One day, Sita gave Hanuman a beautiful necklace of shiny pearls as a thank-you gift.
Hanuman looked closely at each pearl. Then, gently, he set the necklace down.
"Why do you not wear it?" someone asked.
"I am looking for Rama in each pearl," Hanuman said softly. "If Rama is not in it, it is not precious to me. My love for Rama lives right here, in my heart."
Everyone was touched by Hanuman's pure, loving devotion.
True love and devotion come from the heart, not from gifts.
