Story 87 A Happy Kingdom 1 min read Ages 3–10

One day, a man came to King Rama, feeling very sorry. "I made a mistake," he said sadly. "I am so sorry."

Rama looked at him with kind eyes. He did not shout or stay angry.

"Everyone makes mistakes," Rama said gently. "What matters is that you are sorry and will try to do better. I forgive you."

The man felt a big weight lift from his heart. He promised to be good and kind from then on.

Rama's forgiveness gave the man a happy, fresh start.

The moral of the story

Forgiving others gives them a chance to become better.
