King Rama wanted Ayodhya to be clean and beautiful for everyone.
He taught the people to keep their streets tidy, their homes neat, and their rivers clean.
"Taking care of our city is everyone's job," Rama said. "A clean home is a happy home."
The children helped too, picking up litter and planting flowers along the paths.
Because everyone took responsibility, Ayodhya became the cleanest, happiest city of all.
